The Physician Philosopher Podcast

Dec 14, 2020

“At the end of the road, we’ll all be happy.” That’s the mindset I’m falling into these days and I think it’s helped my wife and I find that pursuing FIRE is worthwhile. But, that’s not the case for a lot of doctors. The reality of our roles as physicians is that finality is ever-present. We see it in the emergency room. We see it with deceased family members. We even see it with our goals. Since everything in our lives is driven by our feelings, we might be getting in our own way to financial independence.

There is a very reasonable road that you can save enough for tomorrow and have enough today. Listen as I dig into what this means. Who knows, maybe you’ll do some soul searching while you’re at it.

This podcast is only a fraction of what I have going on at The Physician Philosopher. If you haven’t yet, check out the blog at www.thephysicianphilosopher.com
